What’s new

New features, fixes, and improvements. You’re on version 1.3.

  1. Version 1.3current

Faster completes, search & a little celebration

    • Completing a chore feels much snappier—the card updates right away and your points tick up while the save finishes.
    • Tap Complete for a small confetti burst, a green Done again button, then the card floats away before it leaves your Today / Urgent list.
    • Cover bonus is now a flat +5 points when you complete someone else's assigned chore (not 5% of the chore value).
    • Filters & sort has a live search bar—type a chore name to find it across all chores without expanding the list.
    • The Status filter is gone; urgency is still grouped in Today / Urgent and Soon.
  2. Version 1.2.2.2

    Smarter last-done on revert

    • Reverting an older log entry no longer jumps the chore's “Last completed” line back to a much earlier date when newer completions are still in the log—for example after fixing a mistaken solo completion with a split.
    • The due date and last-completed info now come from the newest remaining completion; only when you remove the last one does the chore rewind to what it was before that completion.
    • Split completions now store the same undo snapshots as regular completions, so reverting split log rows behaves consistently too.
  3. Version 1.2.2.1

    Log filters & revert fix

    • Reverting a completed chore from the log no longer hits a server error—the undo (points, due date, and last-completed info) completes reliably again.
    • On Log and Archive, use the new Activity filter to show only Chores (completions), Skips (postponements), or Rewards (redemptions), or leave it on All activity. It works together with the person filter and paging.
  4. Version 1.2.2

Cover bonus, MVP celebration & smarter revert

    • Completing a chore assigned to another specific household member earns a +5% cover bonus on top of its base points. The flash message and push notification both say 'covered' and call out the extra points (e.g. +105 pts, incl. +5 pt cover bonus (5%)).
    • On the first day of each month, a full-screen MVP announcement pops up showing the previous month's leaderboard with medals, a confetti burst, and fun stats: total chores completed, per-person counts, the most-done chore overall, and each member's personal favourite chore. The dialog shows once per device.
    • Reverting a completed chore now fully undoes the completion: the chore's due date, Done status, and 'Last completed by' line all go back to exactly what they were before you hit Complete.
    • The due-date tooltip on chore cards (e.g. 'Due on 3/6/2026') now works on mobile — tap the dotted due line to show it, tap anywhere else to close.
  5. Version 1.2.1

Log totals, animated points & rolling weeklies

    • The Log tab header now shows how many chore points each person has earned this month (redemptions not counted)—same layout as the Chores balance row, with numbers that tick up when you open the tab.
    • Chores uses the same animated point totals in its header.
    • Due lines stay on “Today” for the whole calendar day instead of switching to the weekday name after the due time passes.
    • When adding or editing a chore, choose Every 7 days for a rolling weekly schedule that isn’t tied to a particular weekday (Weekly (set day) is unchanged).
  6. Version 1.2.0.1

Clearer due dates on chore cards

    • Every chore now uses the same due wording: Today, Tomorrow, or the weekday when it’s within a week; after that you’ll see “in 8 days”, “in 12 days”, and so on. Finished chores show when it’s due again the same way (e.g. “again tomorrow”, “again in 8 days”) without repeating “Done” on the line.
    • Hover the due line to see the exact calendar date (e.g. Due on 27/5/2026).
    • The ▼ actions menu (Split, Skip, Edit) is a bit larger and easier to tap.
  7. Version 1.2.0

Skip chores & more actions on each card

    • Complete is now the first button on every chore card. A black ▼ button beside it opens a short menu: Split (same as before), Skip, and Edit (jumps straight to editing that chore in Manage).
    • Skip lets you postpone a chore without earning points. Choose 1–3 days or jump to the next turn of its schedule (for example next week on a weekly chore). The activity log records who skipped what and how far it was pushed—e.g. “John skipped Wash Dishes to 2 days later.”
    • If you change your mind, open the Log and revert a skip. The chore’s due date goes back to what it was before the skip, and the skip line is removed from the log.
    • On Log → Analytics, tap Chores (next to Points) to see how many chores each person finished per day—not points, just completions. Week, Month, and All time work the same as the points chart.
  8. Version 1.1.3.2

    Soon shows upcoming done chores

    • Upcoming chores now stay visible in Soon even when already marked done, so you can still anticipate what’s next.
  9. Version 1.1.3.1

Chore due dates over a week away

    • Chore cards show “N days left” when the deadline is more than seven days away; within a week they still say Today, Tomorrow, or the weekday.
  10. Version 1.1.3

    Clearer analytics, lighter chores list

    • The household chart counts chore points only—reward redemptions no longer show up as big negative spikes.
    • When someone redeems a reward, you’ll see a yellow line on that day with a short note (for example who claimed what).
    • Opening Log → Analytics now starts on the past week (matching the chart controls) instead of “all time,” so the page stays quick as your history grows—switch to Month or All time when you want a wider view.
    • On the Chores tab, “All chores” starts folded shut each time you open the app; tap it when you want the full filtered list—it loads then so the first screen stays snappy.
  11. Version 1.1.2

What’s new page & smoother editing on phones

    • Tap the version number in the footer anytime to open this list of updates.
    • When you edit a chore or reward on your phone, the screen scrolls to the form and the layout stays tidy—no more squashed titles or forms hiding off-screen.
  12. Version 1.1.1.1

    Simpler wording on chore cards

    • Chores now use the same kind of friendly language everywhere—weekdays and short phrases instead of awkward ‘in X days’ lines that didn’t match the rest of the card.
  13. Version 1.1.1

Biweekly chores show the right ‘next time’

    • Fixed a bug where every-other-week chores could show the wrong spacing until the next time—what you see now lines up with the real schedule.
  14. Version 1.1.0

Chores follow the calendar, not the clock

    • Tasks line up with real days and weeks (using Greece time), so sections like Today and Soon match how you think about the week—not tiny hourly countdowns.
    • Labels across the board read more naturally for everyday use.
  15. Version 1.0.4.2

    Optional reminders on your phone

    • You can turn on gentle morning summaries and overdue reminders as notifications, from your profile or notification settings.
  16. Version 1.0.4

Richer activity history & tidier months

    • Look back month by month, see simple charts, and move through long lists without loading everything at once.
    • Household scoring rolls forward cleanly at month boundaries; small improvements so Profile feels consistent with the rest of the app.
  17. Version 1.0.3

Split points when several people help

    • When more than one person joins a chore, you can share the points fairly instead of giving them all to one person.
  18. Version 1.0.2

Nicer app icon & clearer due timing

    • The icon and ‘add to home screen’ experience match Mission Clean Home properly.
    • Due times stand out more when you skim your chore list.
  19. Version 1.0.1

Snappier tabs & better spacing on small screens

    • Jumping between Chores, Shop, Log, and Manage feels lighter.
    • The bottom bar sits comfortably above the home gesture area on newer phones.
  20. Version 1.0.1

Organized chore board & easier log fixes

    • Group chores by how soon they matter, filter and sort them, and see household points for the day at a glance.
    • Fix a mistaken activity entry with a quick swipe where your device supports it.
  21. Version 1.0.0

    Mission: Clean Home arrives

    • The app gets its real name, colors, and footer—plus you can save it to your home screen like a proper household app.
    • Clearer landing experience and more flexible ways to set how often chores repeat.
